Hatred/Disgust 1971This film by Kubrick was received rather poorly by the people and critics. The Telegraph put it in the category of the top 10 most controversial fims in cinema. The movie is filled with violence, nudity, and brain-control scenes. Sources say that Kubrick even got death threats, he responded with banning the movie until his death in 1999

DIsgust 1962The title says it all, how did they ever make a movie of Lolita? For the time period, it was a very risky film to make on Kubrick's part. The film deals with pedophilia basically and that did not go well with the public. But some really liked it since they read the book by Vladimir Nabokov.

This film by Kubrick was actually well received and was one of the most successful films that Stanley Kubrick has ever directed. There were those people who thought that it was not a good but they were not the critics; everyone has their opinion but from a film-industry point of view it was a 10/10 movie
